Grace Church History

Grace Church launched in March 2007 with a mission to glorify God by becoming more like Jesus, extending grace in all our relationships, and guiding others into a hope-filled future with Him. 

We began meeting at Kettle Moraine High School and eventually moved to our present location, a former sea-food restaurant, on Hillside Drive in Delafield. Grace Church has been blessed under the shepherding of three Senior Pastors.

Pastor Mike and Jan Frans launched Grace Church in 2007 and shepherded the congregation until he retired in 2018. He passed the baton to David and Rhea Briscoe, who led and ministered at Grace Church until David retired in 2024. In August of 2024, the Lord called Jason and Kellie Knapp to serve as the third Senior Pastor.

Through the years, Grace has become a church for those who were un-churched in our community… a church among whom the lost and broken can experience the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, just as we have experienced.

We unashamedly love Jesus and worship Him with great gratitude for His GRACE. Grace which:

Grounds… us in God’s Word

Restores… us to a loving relationship with God.

Aims… us toward God’s unique and individual call.

Connects… us with others in authentic community.

Equips… us to compassionately serve others out of love for Jesus.

As we grow in grace, Jesus is re-writing our story. He is making all things new. And He invites us to join Him in His grand and eternal design for a future and hope for our world!
